When I was a kid, I used to listen to Cinderella on the record player and I would follow along with a book. I DREAMED of having my turn to go to the ball! Well, dreams do come true!
For the second year in a row, I have been nominated for a Voice Arts Award by the Society of Arts and Sciences and I couldn’t be more excited!
Last year in NYC, I was nominated for “Best Voiceover in a Video Game” and “Best Commercial Demo”. This year for the 2018 Sovas Awards, I was nominated for “Outstanding Body of Work”... Which is like the Academy Awards “Best Picture”….. it’s the last category to be announced!

From picking out my dress to wearing the same shoes from last year (sorta like glass slippers), I had a blast getting all dressed up and live out my own Cinderella Story.
The ball– er, I mean Awards, took place at the incredible Warner Brothers Studios! It was totally like being on an iconic movie set! We got to walk the red carpet and meet and greet some amazing people and I was even interviewed.

The show was amazing and the incredible talent I was surrounded by, including the likes of Sigourney Weaver and Rosario Dawson, was truly awe-inspiring.
We patiently (not so patiently, lol) waited for my category to be announced at the very end. Though I unfortunately didn’t take home the award, being nominated for my work as a voiceover actor is truly a huge honor and the experience is something I will carry with me always!

Afterwards, my Prince Charming took me by horse and carriage to Casa Vega for a well deserved margarita….. and now, I dream of next year!
I truly love working as a voiceover actor and know I’ll be doing it for many many years to come so I hope I will be seeing SOVAS again, soon!
Congrats, it’s a feat just to get nominated let alone win anything.
